Block on Thursday, December 10th, as we return to one of our
favorites, the Seasons Dinner Theater at Bunker Hills Event Center in Coon
Rapids. Enjoy a delicious meal and
original comedy production “Waiting for Mrs. Claws” in a great atmosphere. We’ll depart Little Falls at 8:20 a.m. from
the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our North Star motor coach will
also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or any other city along the
way. We’re headed to the Seasons Dinner
Theater providing performances in an intimate and relaxing setting. Since 1988, Seasons Dinner Theater has been
home to the Seasons Players, a professional theater production company, which
has performed hundreds and hundreds of shows on the Seasons’ thrust stage. We’ll start our experience with your choice
of entrée selections, beer-battered walleye with lemon dill cream sauce,
herb-crusted pork loin with dijon demi-glaze or three-cheese stuffed shells
with marinara and Alfredo sauce and seasoned vegetables served with a bread
basket, mixed greens salad, coffee, hot herbal tea, iced tea or ice water.
Following our delicious lunch, sit back and enjoy the original musical comedy,
“Waiting for Mrs. Claws”. In the small
town of Stables, Minnesota, on a blizzard-like Christmas Eve, long tome
veterinarian Dr. Johnson and receptionist Wanda Heimrick, at “People and Paws
Health Clinic” (yes, one side of the clinic administers people-care and the
other side cares for animals) are giddy with holiday cheer to leave early and
make merry. Those plans have been foiled
when a curious stranger arrives in need of help for his sick cat. By late afternoon, a string of quirky
characters, including the town’s “Cat Lady” and Wanda’s “forgetful” mother, all
arrive in need of something. Soon,
everyone is entranced by the stranger who regales stories of is amazing cat,
Mrs. Claws. Who knew how much could be
gained from the example of a cat?
Perhaps the best gifts at Christmas don’t come all gift wrapped! Get ready to laugh and be heart bombed by
this fun musical comedy. Don’t miss another holiday original script musical
