If you’re looking for a full day of classic country music and comedy, beginning with a delicious lunch, then join us on Wednesday, September 4th. This will be an exceptional day of summer fun and relaxation hosted by Laura and Gary Block. It’s not too early to sign-up today. Seats for this trip are limited!!

We depart Little Falls at 9:30 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot and will also pick up in Randall and Motley or anywhere else on our route. Lunch today is at the Good Life. Nestled in the heart of iconic downtown Park Rapids, the Good Life is handcrafting fresh food that makes people feel good. In 2009 Molly and Luke Luther built this café from the ground up with little more than their own hands and the support of their family and community. They now pride themselves on giving back to the community by being a welcoming, family-friendly and modern place to enjoy company and Minnesota’s favorite foods. There’s a choice of four entrees for lunch. Please make your choice when you sign up! #1 Reuben sandwich – corned beef roasted in house, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing on grilled rye bread with pub chips. #2 Cheesy California burger – 1/3 lb. beef patty, cheddar jack, caramelized onion aioli, lettuce & tomato on a brioche bun with pub chips. #3 Walnut cranberry salad- mixed greens, spiced walnuts, dried cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles and cranberry vinaigrette with bread. #4 Turkey avocado club on white, wheat or rye (please specify type of bread), - smoked turkey, pepper bacon, guacamole, herbed cream cheese, roasted red peppers and lettuce with pub chips. (Can also be vegetarian, by request) Our North Star Coaches motor coach will take us to Jasper’s Theater, a landmark since 2004. Jaspers is a cozy log theater nestled in the peaceful pines east of Park Rapids. The theater is air-conditioned with a sloped floor (no stairs) for easy access and an excellent view from every seat. Bathrooms are easily accessible right inside the main door. We have fabulous reserved seats for today’s show which opens with the side-splitting stories of the beloved Auntie Kreamsaugen, who’ll kick-off the afternoon of fun. The Dan Brekke Band country music show will follow. The band includes Nashville artist Rob Muzick and will be performing the country songs you miss and songs you forgot you knew. They’ll be pickin’ and fiddlin’ to the music of country legends such as Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Alabama, Willie Nelson, Roger Miller and more. It doesn’t get any better than this. It’s all here, a complete day of entertainment and great food.
