Gary Block Tours on Wednesday, October 14th as we travel to Sidekick
Theater in Bloomington. Enjoy a
delicious meal and comedy production in a great atmosphere. We’ll depart from the northeast Little Falls
Walmart parking lot at 9:00 a.m. We will start our experience in one of the
beautiful dining rooms where the buffet luncheon features creamy chicken
breast, with roasted red potatoes, glazed carrots, coleslaw, dinner rolls,
assorted desserts, coffee, hot tea and water.
(Special dietary meals available by request at the time you sign up). Following our delicious lunch, it's over to
the theater to enjoy “Arsenic and Old Lace”. What do you do when your eccentric family has
actual skeletons in the closet? Mortimer
Brewster may be the only sane member of his family. One brother thinks he’s Teddy Roosevelt and
digs the Panama Canal in the cellar. His
other brother keeps undergoing ghastly plastic surgeries to hide from the
police. And his adorably sweet spinster aunts take in lonely boarders…and
dispose of them with their special elderberry wine. To make matters worse, Mortimer has fallen in
love with Elaine, the minister’s daughter from next door, and a household of
murderous relatives probably won’t help the relationship. This beloved screwball comedy set in 1940’s
Brooklyn will leave you laughing – and saying no to the elderberry wine! What a
super way to spend a Wednesday in October.
After the show we’ll make a stop at Culvers in Maple Grove, where the
staff will deliver the “Flavor of the Day” on-board the bus. We’ll be returning
to Little Falls around 6:25 p.m. Give us
