Comedy play & buffet
in Plymouth
“DayTrippers Dinner Theatre”, is now in their new location at “Plymouth Playhouse”. DayTrippers chose to suspend business due to Covid a few years ago. Producer Bill Kenzie is returning to a familiar location in Plymouth and presenting the comedy “’37 Postcards” and we’ll be part of that excitement. We always look forward to returning to DayTrippers!! It’s good to be back at DayTrippers and we hope you can be with us. Join Laura and Gary Block on Wednesday, April 23rd for a delicious buffet and reserved seats. We leave Little Falls at 9:45 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else on our route. A delicious buffet lunch will be waiting for us when we arrive at Plymouth Playhouse. DayTrippers has secured the caterer who provided the lunches in Bloomington. An all-new buffet includes quarter savory roast chicken, baked lasagna, real mashed potatoes, Tuscan vegetable medley, garden salad with assorted dressings, assorted dinner rolls, heavenly pound cake, plus coffee, tea and water. After our lunch, we’ll leave the dining room at the Ramada Hotel and step over to the theater and enjoy “’37 Postcards”. Get ready for laughter and lunacy in DayTrippers Dinner Theatre’s new show “37 Postcards”. Styled like a 1930’s screwball comedy, this delightful play follows young Avery Sutton and his fiancée as they return from eight years in Europe, only to find his quirky family has gone entirely off the rails! The house is on a tilt, the dog is feral and his grandmother (presumed dead) is alive and kicking. The couple finds that you can go home again, you just never know what you’ll find. Expect twists, turns, and a dash of chaos in this charming and eccentric comedy that will keep you entertained all afternoon. Don’t miss it! Entertainment News and Views says “If you like plays that make you laugh and send you out with a warm glow, this one’s for you”. The Venice Gondolier added “What could possibly top this show”. And the New York Daily News stated “37 Postcards” is family folly at its finest”. Get your name on the list today. We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 6:00.
