Garage sales, plus a lot of fun…it’s our “Woodbury Garage Sales” adventure hosted by Laura & Gary Block, on Thursday, May 8^th. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will depart Little Falls at 6:00 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. You have to get to those garage sales early! We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else on our route. Here’s the routine: get a good night’s sleep…dress casually…bring along rain gear, just in case…don’t forget your coffee or beverage and pack a snack in case you get hungry shopping those sales. Some of the garage sale areas do local fundraising, selling food and beverages. Woodbury is our destination for the 48^th Annual Garage Sales sponsored by the Woodbury Lions Club. This is one of the biggest garage sale events in the state of Minnesota! There will be hundreds of homes in this St. Paul suburb having garage sales. This is the first day of a three-day event, so we’ll get first shot at those treasures. Wait until you see the eyes of the homeowners when we pull up to the garage sales in a motor coach! There’ll be plenty of room in the luggage bay for any of your purchases. In fact, in the past, we’ve had people purchase patio and dining room sets, so we have some room for a few large items. We do all the planning the night before and scout out the best places to take the motor coach to. There isn’t anything you need to prepare for, we do all the preparation and map out our route. If you enjoy garage sales and hunting for bargains, you’ll love this day trip to Woodbury for this annual event. Lunch is on your own after 2:00. We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 6:15. Spaces are limited, since we want to leave some room on the bus for your treasures, so sign up today!!
