“Perfect Wedding” is a riotous comedy and touching love story presented by Sidekick Theatre in Bloomington. The Sidekick Theatre is a professional theater company under the artistic leadership of Tim Stolz and Brian Pearce who were affiliated with the Old Log Theatre for many years. In fact, Tim’s father was Don Stolz who started and ran the Old Log for many, many years. The Sidekick Theatre is dedicated to producing an exciting and engaging mix of comedies and musicals. Join Laura and Gary Block on Thursday, May 1st for a delicious lunch and show. We leave Little Falls at 8:30 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our comfortable North Star coach will also pick up in Royalton, Rice, at Cash Wise in Waite Park or anywhere else on our route. Lunch features creamy chicken breast with roasted red potatoes, glazed carrots, coleslaw, dinner rolls, assorted desserts, coffee and hot tea. Special dietary meals are available if we are notified when you sign up. Following lunch, it’s over to the theater a “Perfect Wedding” where it’s the big day gone hilariously wrong. A groom wakes up on the morning of his wedding day with a hangover and a strange woman in his bed. Mix in the bride, her mother, the best man, and a maid that knows too much, and you have the recipe for disaster. Wedding bells or running for the hills? Their big day will be far from a piece of cake! This will be a fun show. We also stop at Culvers in Maple Grove for the “Flavor of the Day” on our way home and returning to Little Falls around 6:15 p.m.
