Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of the audience on a “live” television show? Now’s your chance to experience this fun and entertaining event on KMSP Channel 9. Join Great River Arts of Little Falls and Gary Block Tours on Tuesday, April 22nd as we travel to Eden Prairie to be part of “The Jason Show”, starring Jason Matheson, which has been on-the-air since 2015. Our comfortable North Star motor coach will depart Little Falls from the northeast Wal-Mart parking lot at 6:35 a.m. We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice, Waite Park or anywhere else on our route. Our day in the Twin Cities begins at the Fox 9 studios when an audience coordinator greets us and gives us a few tips on being a great audience. At 10:00, get ready for the excitement when we become part of the “live” audience for one hour on “The Jason Show”. Hosted by Jason Matheson, this dynamic and hilarious personality moves quickly through a variety of segments including celebrity gossip, lifestyle, food, film and fashion. After the show, we travel to Edina for a buffet lunch at Q. Cumbers with their celebrated fifty-foot salad bar that has everything you need, plus hot entrees, four different soups made from scratch, a fresh bakery, fruits and desserts. Mmmmm! Following lunch, it’s on to the Minneapolis Institute of Arts where they inspire wonder through the power of art. The MIA enriches the community by collecting, preserving and making accessible, outstanding works of art from the world’s diverse cultures. MIA is celebrating Spring with the “Art in Bloom” festival. “Art in Bloom” showcases imaginative floral interpretations of selected works of art from their permanent collection, created by more than 100 individual and commercial florists. Experience the floral beauty and fragrance throughout the museum and enjoy family-friendly activities. What a day!!
