Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
June 19, 2018
Performing Arts Center in Bemidji
You’ve seen their concert on PBS television, now experience “The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band” up close and personal in Bemidji. Gary Block Tours, in association with Lakeland PBS, invites you to join us Tuesday, June 19th at the Bemidji Performing Arts Center where we have some of the best seats in the theater beginning in the 7th row, center section. These seats are not available to the general public. The reason? Gary Block Tours is co-sponsoring this concert and had first choice at these great seats! This show is “not” being held at the Sanford Center. It’s being presented at the intimate Performing Arts Center with comfortable theater seating. We’ll depart Little Falls at 2:15 pm from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our comfortable Andy’s Charter Service motor coach will also pick up in Brainerd or anywhere else along our route. A stop in Bemidji for dinner, on our own, is a necessity. Join us at the Performing Arts Center for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band show beginning at 7:00 pm. Fresh off their 18 month 50th Anniversary Tour, the iconic and profoundly influential Nitty Gritty Dirt Band continues to add to their legendary status. With multi-platinum and gold records, strings of top ten hits such as “Fishin’ In The Dark” and “Mr. Bojangles”, multiple Grammys. IBMA, Country Music Association Awards for top vocal group, the band’s accolades continue to accumulate. Their groundbreaking “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” album has been inducted into the U.S. Library of Congress as well as the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2014 “Fishin’ In The Dark” was certified platinum for digital downloads. In 2015, the band played to a sold out crowd at the historic Ryman Auditorium to film a 50th Anniversary Special which airs on PBS TV and earned them an Emmy in 2016. Today, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band continues their non-stop touring in their 52nd year together. You’ll hear over 50 years of hits including “House at Pooh Corner”, “An American Dream”, “Dance Little Jean”, “Stand A Little Rain”, “Workin Man” and many, many more. Sit back, relax and let us do the driving. Thanks to Lakeland PBS teaming with Gary Block Tours, we are able to offer these fantastic seats beginning in the 7th row, center section that are not available to the general public. We will be returning to Little Falls after the 7:00 show. If you already called us to sign up for this trip, please call back and confirm. Because of the expected demand for these seats, payment is required within three days unless other arrangements have been made.
