We depart Little Falls at 12:45 p.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our charter tour coach will take us north to just outside of Park Rapids at Jasper’s Theater. We have fabulous reserved seats near the front for Jasper’s new show in 2012 called “Road Trip”. This year’s show is going to be all about the “places” we go to be entertained…Broadway, Vegas, Hollywood and the Grand Ole Opry. It’s going to be a fun show! Come and celebrate Jasper’s 8^th season with comfortable cushioned seating in air conditioned comfort. Renowned magician Jack Sand precedes the matinee with amazing magic and hilarious comedy. Get on board as we journey through the faces and places that have become the landmarks of our musical heritage. We’ll travel from Nashville to New Orleans, Vegas to Vaudeville, and Broadway to Hollywood with Jaspers unique blend of music, dance, magic and comedy. Jaspers is sure to please even the most discriminating audiences with tributes to the theater, old time radio shows, the glitz and glamour of Vegas, the down home feel of the Grand Ole Opry, Southern Dixie, Patriotic, Cajun and Gospel music. Movies, musicals, and memories throughout the years – now THAT”S entertainment! It’s another summer of fun at an out-of-the-ordinary theater – Jasper’s Theater. This year Auntie Kreamsaugen will have you laughing all the way home as we remember her Tall Tales from Hagen Township. We’re guaranteed to fall in love with this family phenomenon as they deliver their highly entertaining brand of entertainment. They’ll sing, dance and tickle our funny bone as they exceed our expectations with a brand new show this year. It’s become a tradition for us every summer. After the show, we’ll travel to Dorset, the “Restaurant Capitol of the World”, for dinner at La Pasta Italian Eatery. Choose one of the following entrees….Cannellone, Lasagna, Spaghetti and meatballs, Fettuccine Primavera or Chicken Breast…plus salad, breadstick and beverage. After dinner, there will be time to explore small-town friendly Dorset where the streets are lined with boardwalks, casual porch swings and flower baskets. The shops are filled with special items from artistically-crafted pottery and lamps to unique décor and antiques. Dorset has a population of 22 people and the shops are all within walking distance since the town is only one block long. This has been a great experience in the past and some folks even find room for an ice cream cone later on. It doesn’t get any better than this. It’s all here, a complete day of entertainment and great food.. We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 9:30. Call and sign up today for a wonderful time.
