Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol

Holiday Treat Makes a Very Old Story, New Again

 DayTrippers Dinner Theatre – Bloomington

Wednesday December 4, 2019

Join Laura and Gary Block on Wednesday December 4th for “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol” at DayTrippers Dinner Theatre in Bloomington.  We depart Little Falls at 9:25 a.m. on a comfortable Andy’s Charter Service motor coach from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot and also picking up in Royalton, Rice, St. Cloud or anywhere else along our route.  Our time at DayTrippers begins with a tasty buffet lunch featuring champagne chicken, Swiss steak, country sausage with sauerkraut, red potatoes, cut green beans, green leaf salad, salad bar with sliced beets, salami, cheese, assorted peppers, olives and onions, rolls and butter, gourmet brownie, coffee and water, all prepared by Executive Chef, Mark Heden. We have super reserved tables for this hilarious show.  For anyone who has ever wondered “Why did Marley come back for Scrooge in the first place?” or “But what happens to Jacob Marley at the end of “A Christmas Carol?”, this is the perfect companion piece to Dickens’ holiday classic. “Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol” opens as does the Victorian Classic “The Christmas Story” with Marley, Scrooge’s departed, doomed and chained business partner, dead as a doornail. With a mischievous sprite who leads him along the way, this festive ghost story remains in the plains of the afterlife as Marley scrambles to redeem himself by reforming his former partner-in-greed, that squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, clutching, covetous old sinner Ebeneezer Scrooge in just 24 hours. To top off the afternoon, we’ll stop at Culvers in Maple Grove on our way home for the “Flavor of the Day”.  We’ll return to Little Falls around 6:00.  Give us a call and sign up today. If you’re joining us in St. Cloud, we begin picking up in our new location beginning with this trip, in the west end of the Cash Wise parking lot. This is just east of our current pick up location at east side Shopko.
