The Ivey-Award Winning Musical Returns
History Theatre – St. Paul
July 18, 2019
The blockbuster hit musical “Glensheen” returns after selling out four runs at the History Theatre. If you joined us in Duluth last year for a tour of the Glensheen mansion, you need to sign up for this experience. Now that you visited the home, find out the rest of the story! Join Laura and Gary Block on Thursday, July 18th when our Andy’s Charter Service motor coach departs Little Falls at 9:45 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. We’ll also pick up in Royalton, Rice, St. Cloud or any other city on our route, as we travel to downtown St. Paul. We have reserved seats that have not been assigned at this time for the 1:30 pm show at the History Theatre. Lunch is on your own at Culvers in Maple Grove. Then it’s over to St. Paul for “Glensheen” the summer musical blockbuster everyone’s been talking about. An heiress, kind and generous, is found dead in her bed. Her night nurse, lying lifeless on the staircase. A robbery? A clumsy break-in? A conspiracy? A scandal! The Congdon family tragedy splashed across the headlines of every newspaper in Minnesota. But what really happened that fateful night at the Glensheen Mansion? Whodunit? Witness this dark musical that tackles the tale with wicked dialogue and evocative music. According to the Star Tribune, writer Jeffrey Hatcher and composer Chan Poling “pulled off a spectacular feat with a shamelessly witty script and score”. We will be returning to Little Falls around 6:15. This will be a fun day with a super show. Don’t think twice, sign up today. This was one of the best shows we saw last year. If you missed it last time, don’t miss it this time. If you saw it last year, you’ll want to sign up again…it’s that good!!!!!!!
