Friday, February 14, 2020

Join Laura and Gary Block on Valentine’s Day, Friday, February 14th for “Fools Fall n Love” and experience the signature love songs of the 1950’s and 1960’s. We’ll depart Little Falls at 9:15 a.m. from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot. Our comfortable Andy’s Charter Service motor coach will also pick up in Royalton, Rice, St. Cloud or any other city along the way.  We’re headed to the Sidekick Theatre at Ives Auditorium in Bloomington where we’ll start off our day with a delicious lunch that includes roast beef served with cheesy potatoes, glazed carrots, winter salad, dinner rolls, coffee, hot tea and assorted desserts. The show is next and we’ll be seated in the jewel-box theater for “Fools Fall in Love”, featuring four of the Twin Cities best male vocalists. Sit back and enjoy love songs beginning with doo-wop groups like The Drifters up to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.  “Fools Fall in Love” celebrates the swingin’ quartet-driven harmonies of the 50’s and 60’s with tunes such as “Earth Angel”, “A Sunday Kind of Love”, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You”, “Come Go With Me”, “Unchained Melody”, “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry”.  Join us for a fun-filled day with Sidekick Theatre, a professional theatre under the artistic leadership of Tim Stolz and Brian Pekol, who were affiliated with the Old Log Theatre for many years.  This will be a special Valentine’s Day experience and to top it off, it’s also Laura’s birthday that day making it extra special for her. A stop at Culver’s in Maple Grove on the way home for their Flavor of the Day, is also included.  We’ll be returning to Little Falls around 6:30 p.m. Give us a call and sign up today.
