Bootlegging Nuns in a Fun-Filled Farce
Lunch & Show
Daytrippers Dinner Theatre - Bloomington
April 5, 2018
Hop on board as we join the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing in Daytrippers Dinner Theatre’s Spring production of “Drinking Habits”, one of the funniest shows we have seen. Join Laura and Gary Block on Thursday April 5, as we leave Little Falls at 9:25 a.m. on a comfortable Andy’s Charter Service motor coach from the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart parking lot and also picking up in Royalton, Rice, St. Cloud or anywhere else along our route. A buffet lunch awaits us when we arrive consisting of chicken Kiev, roast loin of pork, country sausage with sauerkraut. salad bar, red potatoes, cut green beans, green leaf salad, rolls, coffee and tea. We have super reserved tables for this hilarious show. Romance gone wild, mistaken identities, the threat of an international spy syndicate – if you think that all nunneries are humdrum houses of worship, you’ve never encountered the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing. In this outrageous farce “Drinking Habits” two nuns have been secretly making wine to keep the convent doors open, but a couple of reporters and former fiancés, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent by Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves. Put some fun in your life, get some real belly laughs and come with us to see “Drinking Habits”. This will be a fun matinee to attend, even if you’ve seen it already and a chance to enjoy the company of other people from our area. To top off the afternoon, we’ll stop at Culvers in Maple Grove on our way home for the “Flavor of the Day”. We’ll return to Little Falls around 6:00. Give us a call and sign up today.
